Count boxes and individual bars separately

Quest’s current selector offers4count,12count and3x12count boxes. The checked Barebells offer is1x12pack; the Target RXBAR offer is10bars. A shared product name does not supply the selected total.

Multiply every layer

Three boxes of12bars contain36bars. A cart quantity of3on a3x12bundle would instead mean108bars if the seller defines that cart quantity as three bundles. Keep each packaging layer explicit.

Avoid a default case size

Do not assume every brand sells12perbox or that every multipack contains regular-size bars. Save the actual quantity and bar format beside the price before comparing the per-bar result.

A useful record to keep

Keep the number of bundles distinct from the number of boxes inside each bundle. If a seller offers3x12,write3boxes and12bars per box before entering the cart quantity. A lower price on a four-count pack may still produce a higher per-bar amount. Photos of open cartons are not a count verification for an actual order.
